      • Socket Weld (SW): Used for small-diameter high-pressure applications, providing strong welding connection.
      • Lap Joint (LJ): Used with stub ends, allows easy disassembly and alignment, often used in low-pressure applications.
      • Blind (BL): Solid flange used to close the end of a pipeline, allowing future expansion.
